I being Amalendu Samanta indebed to NILD (National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangan) and thanks to TISS (Tata Institute of Social science) for selecting me for one month practical training started from 08.08.2017 to 08.09.2017 of services and care of Geriatric people. I like to do this type of work and get mental satisfaction. During my training period I observed different types of geriatric disable persons and tried to understand the cause of that disease and how to take care of this disease from our coordinator. I had also talk some Geriatric patients and take details about their family member, family income and individual income etc. This field training at NILD increase my knowledge about different disease of Geriatric age group people and how to take care of that. I had also acquired knowledge about different Govt facilities available for the Geriatric age group people. After complete one month practical field training I am satisfied and get confidence how to take care of Geriatric age group people with different disabilities. My thanks to the authority of NILD and TISS.
